Every Monday, people say, “Good morning! How was your weekend? “To me on the road, at work, or in social situations. I usually say something like, “I don’t celebrate the weekend” or “I don’t believe in one.” I often get different answers and different reactions. They have all the colours of the rainbow.

I feel like I’m from another planet because of how people react and answer, just like Superman. We’ll talk about why that’s the case or why you’re not asking me about my weekend. I say over and over that the idea of a weekend that is fun, relaxing, and enjoyable is a social or personal illusion.

How we live and what happens to us in life depends on how we see life. Most of us like to plan for good times and good things. We need to be ready, just like we need to get summer bodies in the winter. We also need to be able to plan for the bad times.

We often think that life will go smoothly and don’t think about dealing with hard times or anything terrible tomorrow. We hope that tomorrow will be better. Every year we feel it will be better (when summer or sunshine comes). We have a forward-looking approach that makes us optimistic but sometimes makes us serial planners and eternal optimists without getting the body or the results
